Potash companies are planning to spend approximately $13 billion on expansions to their existing mines by 2020. A number of companies new to the Saskatchewan potash industry are considering developing greenflield potash mines.

The Ministry Plan for 2012-13 demonstrates how the Ministry aligns with the Government’s overall direction and its 2012-13 Budget, both of which are built around Keeping the Saskatchewan Advantage, supporting our sound economic growth so that prosperity can be shared across the province. The ministry will report on progress made towards its plan, within the financial parameters provided, in its 2012-13 Annual Report.

The 2010-11 Annual Report presents the Ministry's activities and results for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2011.  It reports on public commitments made and other key accomplishments of the Ministry.  The Annual Report is tabled in the legislature on or before August 2, 2011 and communicates both financial and non-financial results achieved over the past year.
